Functional Skills Maths

Whether you are a home-educated student studying for Functional Skills Levels 1 and 2, or if you are preparing for apprenticeship tests, I can help you to achieve exam success.  As an experienced Functional Skills teacher, I have an in depth knowledge of the structure of the course, the subject matter within each topic and am highly experienced in preparing students for their examinations.  

The Functional Skills curriculum provides a more practical approach to studying maths and can be a suitable alternative to studying at GCSE level. All students sit a calculator and a non-calculator paper and during our sessions we will not only develop a secure understanding of each topic but also gain confidence in successfully answering exam style questions.
